This week mama Rach is joined by Emma Rock, who talks about her more natural approach to mom-ing. They dive into her journey with her first child and how her mind was consumed with wanting to do everything right; to now going on her third and how she has learned to let the idea of perfectionism go. Emma loves to experiment with plants and treasures she finds in nature, using them to build her children's immune systems. Plus, she breaks down the hype about cloth diapers. Join us for a fun and surprising conversation, where Rach learns a lot, and Emma shows us that just because you value a more natural approach, doesn't mean you have to stick to it 24/7.

This week mama Rach is joined by her childhood bff Emily. They dive into their (very different) feeding journeys and all the stigmas and misconceptions about breastfeeding and formula feeding. Emily opens up about her 2 and 1/2 year experience with breastfeeding and her mindset and struggles when it came to deciding what was best for her and her daughter. Rach has the opposite experience, where she breastfed for a couple weeks at the beginning, switched to exclusively pumping, and ultimately landed on formula feeding. Join them as they try their best to squash the mom shaming and judgement that surrounds the feeding conversation.

Some of us use more of a fixed mindset to move through life, leaving them stuck exactly where they are; and others use a growth mindset to view each situation, allowing them to improve and move forward. This week Rach gives us the DL on what this means and how to shift our thinking towards a dominant growth mindset. Enjoy!

Happiness is not a destination, it's a mindset. The "I will be happy when..." complex prevents us from truly being happy. We all think that we need something in our lives in order to be happy - a different job, a house, a new car, a different body, a kid, etc. but constantly putting your ability to be happy off, and giving it a future destination, means you're never going to get there. Stop giving yourself excuses as to why you can't be happy now, and start shifting your mindset to find it in your current situation. It's internal; not external.

Hey peach, it doesn't matter okay? Let it go. Stop giving your precious energy to minor inconveniences and irritations. In the grand scheme of your life, something that small is so irrelevant that all you are doing is wasting the little time we have on this Earth focusing on negativity, instead of working on what will make you happy. Stop being so nit-picky and let it go.
